Terms

Last updated: 13 October 2026

These are the terms for using Back in Color at backincolor.com. Please read them before you pay. What happens to your photo and your data is set out in Privacy.

Who we are

Back in Color is run by Nik Novak, Ob dolenjski železnici 124, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia.

You can write to us at hello@backincolor.com.

What Back in Color is

Back in Color is a color analysis. Software reads a photo of your face and your answers to a few questions, and works out which of 12 color seasons fits your coloring.

The result is guidance about color. Please keep its limits in mind:

Who can use it

Back in Color is for adults. You must be 18 or over to use it.

What is free and what you pay for

Before the photo, the app tells you that the full result is paid and costs under $40. You see the exact price before you pay.

Price and payment

Opening your result again

Once you have paid, the result is yours to open again.

There are no accounts and no passwords. Getting back in from another device depends on the email you gave when you paid, so pay with an address you will still be able to read.

Retakes

If the result does not feel like you, you can redo the analysis at no extra cost. Choose "Redo my analysis" in your result, then take the photo and answer the questions again.

Refunds

Your result opens as soon as you pay, so a result that was delivered is not refunded. If it does not feel like you, you can redo the analysis (see Retakes).

If your result did not open, or the analysis failed, write to us within 14 days of paying and we will refund you in full. A refund ends access to the result.

If you live in the EU or the UK: by paying you ask us to deliver your result at once, and you accept that the 14-day right to cancel ends when it is delivered. The card page says so before you pay.

If a payment is taken back through your bank or card issuer, access to the result ends in the same way.

Your photo and your data

The app asks before it uses your photo, and you can skip the photo and use your answers only. What happens to the photo, what we keep and who else handles it are set out in Privacy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Slovenia, without taking away any protection a consumer has under the law of the country she lives in.
